Tele, Montreal - This artful phone is now a decorative piece sitting on the floor of my bedroom.  One early morning a few weeks ago, it started to ring, ring, ring ....  

'Hello', I whispered.  

"Someone is at the point of death, could you send someone ...?" the voiced cracked.  

I slammed the phone down and went back to sleep.
